Each issue of retrofit features a theme that we organize our cover feature around (schools in the fall, sports facilities in the summer, etc.).
The following is necessary for submitting a case study for consideration:
- A detailed description of the project and its outcome, with special attention to the challenges, circumstances or techniques involved that made the retrofit unique. Quotes are very helpful and add life to the resulting project profile.
- High-res (for the technically inclined, a 300 dpi or greater jpg that is at least 1000 pixels on the longest side) photography of the project, preferably with before and after shots that are illustrative of the effect of the retrofit. The better the photography, the more likely we are to spread the project out across multiple pages. Be sure to include the photo credits.
- A list of the team, including (when applicable) the owner, architect, design firm, contractor, specialty contractor, engineer, installer, manufacturer and specific products used. For each, the company name and website is preferred.
