The AABC Commissioning Group (ACG) has opened applications for the CxEnergy Rising Professionals Scholarship, a program that gives engineering and technical students the opportunity to attend the CxEnergy Conference & Expo, the premier industry event for building commissioning, energy management, and building technology. The scholarship allows recipients to be in the room with industry experts and make connections that can accelerate their careers while being exposed to the latest in building commissioning and energy management. CxEnergy 2027 will take place at Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas, NV, on April 27-30, 2027.

What Recipients Receive

Scholarship recipients will receive:

  • Complimentary conference registration
  • Reimbursement* for a round-trip coach flight to CxEnergy
  • Two complimentary nights at a host hotel
  • Exclusive access to the CxEnergy 2027 Career Fair and Mentor Program
  • Complimentary access to the ACG Building Systems Commissioning Guideline ($140 value)
  • Access to the ACG Essential Cx Webinar Series, which includes six webinars from July through December 2027

ACG will sponsor recipients attendance at the conference. No scholarship funds will be distributed directly to students.

Eligibility

Applicants must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and have completed at least one year of a bachelor’s degree program in a technical field related to the built environment. Examples include, but are not limited to, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Science, Energy Engineering, Facilities Management, HVAC Engineering Technology, and related technical disciplines.
